Details: For those persons eligible for publically-funded (OHIP) physiotherapy. Consequently, some of the guidelines governing the operation of the Physiotherapy Centre are stipulated by the Ministry of Health, and so different from those of our sister clinic. The following groups are eligible for publically-funded physiotherapy:
- Persons 65 and over
- Persons 19 and under
- Persons receiving benefits through Ontario Works or the Ontario Disability Support Program
- Persons who have had an overnight stay in hospital relating to the condition for which they require physiotherapy
A doctor’s referral is required for all persons seeking publically-funded physiotherapy.
